Jeff Cohen is an executive advisor, strategist, and leadership communication expert with an extensive record of driving breakthrough organizational impact and performance.
He has shaped strategy, communication, public affairs, marketing, and operations across a wide range of organizations, including start-ups, established businesses, professional associations, and global strategic communication firms. He has also served as a senior consultant and campaign manager for federal, state, and local political candidates and organizations, as Chief of Staff and Communications Director to a Member of Congress, and as Press Secretary to a U.S. Senator.
Throughout his career, Jeff has guided executives, boards, and leadership teams across sectors to develop and execute strategies that drive transformation, foster innovation, and enhance organizational effectiveness. His work has elevated market and thought leadership profiles, achieved bipartisan public policy outcomes, and strengthened organizational trust with internal and external stakeholders. Jeff is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University and an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at Stevenson University. His research delves into the nexus of leadership communication, strategic execution, and organizational behavior; systems thinking and decision-making in complex environments; and how artificial intelligence is reshaping leadership and organizational dynamics.
Jeff is an associate editor and contributor to Leadership and Followership for 100 Years, where he authored chapters on leadership communication and the evolving dynamics of followership. He has written extensively in ORMS Today on the role of analytics and data science professionals in shaping public policy. Through his blog, Strategic Leadership Ignited, he explores the complexity and paradox of leadership, communication, and organizational life. Jeff is also a regular speaker at national and international conferences on topics including AI and leadership communication, strategy execution, public affairs, and organizational leadership.
